SPE London Section evening meeting – September

Dear members,

We would like to invite you and your colleagues to the September London Section evening meeting.

This is an experimental workshop format that we are holding at INEOS OFFICES IN CHELSEA, not at Imperial College. (We will revert to the more usual format and Imperial College venue for the October and subsequent meetings).

Up to 40 Young and Senior professionals will discuss best practices around five topics chosen by SPE London members:

modelling pitfalls
career progression
business deals (M&A asset valuation)
social networks (e-networking)
soft skills

Why attend?

1. Experience a new model of collaboration and knowledge sharing: the best practices discussed and captured at the event will be shared online (Google drive and SPE connect) for further discussion.
2. Share your knowledge in an innovative way. If you wish so, and if relevant, your reference will be added to the best-practice documents, available and further discussed online.
3. Discover best practices and lessons learned in five topics chosen by SPE London members: modelling pitfalls, career progression, business deals (M&A asset valuation), and soft-skills social networks (e-networking).
4. Ask questions to senior professionals in a relaxed, small group environment.

The workshop is organised by Vincent Penasse, a Senior Reservoir Engineer with 15 years industry experience spanning super-majors and large independent oil & gas companies. He has a multi-cultural profile with experience in onshore and deep-water oil and gas fields. Vincent works at Ineos Oil & Gas UK.
