SPE Business Development. Eastern Mediterranean, offshore gas

Dear Members,

We would like to invite you and your colleagues to the next SPE London Business Development event. This evening event will focus on different aspects of the Eastern Mediterranean, especially offshore gas.

This event offers a rare opportunity to see speakers on a panel discussing hydrocarbon and infrastructure assets in Egypt, Israel, Cyprus, Lebanon and Greece. This will be followed by a Q&A session and time for drinks and networking.

Recent discoveries and field developments (eg Zohr, Leviathan) have brought a wave of recent investment interest, despite the geopolitical and commercial risks. The region is close to Europe, attractive to ensuring energy security as alternatives to Gulf and Russian sources. The resource volumes are world-class, but are there still investment opportunities? Where will the recent events have the biggest impact for investors in new ventures?

  • Raising Capital in London (eg LSE listing, RBL, Private Equity)
  • Risks and Opportunities
  • Current M&A activity
  • Trends and Outlook
  • Domestic markets, LNG and gas export options
  • Case Studies/Examples
